Essential Tools for FSC Code Generation:

• Laptop with E-sys installed: Get the BMW E-sys Free Download.
• BMW ENET Cable: Ensure it's compatible with your model.
• FSC Code Generator Software: The heart of this process.

Step-by-Step Guide:1. Extracting the DE or 1B FileInitiate E-sys, and ensure it connects to your car using your VIN. Navigate to the FSC Extended option in the vertical menu.

• For NBT (DE File):
  • Diagnostic Address(hex) = 0x63
  • Click on 'Identify'. You'll see 'Base variant HU_NBT' appearing.
  • Application ID for NBT = 0xDE
  • Upgrade Index = 0x1
• For CIC (1B File):
  • Diagnostic Address(hex) = 0x63
  • Click on 'Identify'. The 'Base variant HU_CIC' should now populate.
  • Application ID for NBT = 0x1B
  • Upgrade Index = 0x1

In the 'Action' section, choose 'Store FSC', move it to the right, click 'Read', and save the file using the format: fsc_XXXXXXX, with XXXXXXX being the last seven characters of your VIN or donor NBT VIN.
[Note]: You can disconnect E-sys now. The next steps can be done offline.
2. Setting Up the Code Generation Software

• Extract the provided directory. It can be placed and run from any location.

Generating the FSC code for NBT:

1. Move 'fsc.exe' from the NBT_FSC directory to the tools directory.
2. Place your 'XXXXXXX.fsc' in the tools directory (where 'Base64.exe' is).
3. Open a command prompt, navigate to the tools directory, and type “Base64 XXXXXXX.FSC XXXXXXX_000DE001.FSC”. Press enter.
4. Launch 'BMW FSC NBT Generator.exe', select the generated file, choose your map product, and click “Generate”.

Generating the FSC code for CIC:

1. Transfer 'fsc.exe' from the CIC_FSC directory to the tools directory.
2. Follow steps 2-4 from the NBT generation process, but for CIC specifics.
