IMMOBILIZERS VW
The VW immobilizer system is called IMMOBILIZER and was introduced in Brazil in 1998.
The error anomaly in the immobilizer light is yellow and has a key symbol. However not all VW vehicle has this lamp. Like imported.
When you turn the ignition key, whether it be on or blinking means trouble in the immobilizer. This time if given the starting the vehicle picks up and then dies.
The vehicle comes standard with two keys, however can be encoded up to 8 keys.
This encoding can only be made with the help of a tracking device, and so has no master key.

CODES OF IGNITION KEY WITH TRANSPONDER:
To encode the ignition key should have the immobilizer code. Now the password immobilizer hands in between with a diagnostic device in the vehicle, between the immobilizer function and following the steps determined by the device from the encoding of the keys.
It is important to remember that when you make a new key encryption, the former should also be encoded, otherwise it will not make the car run.
This programming can only be done with the help of tracker. If the customer does not have the code, a request may be made by the vehicle manufacturer through a dealership or through electronic resources.
Note that if the key is subjected to magnetic field.
For example getting close to a speaker. It can be decoded. Before making the key code through a scanner,
do the following:
- Disconnect the battery, leave it off for one (1) hour.
Then turn it on again, turn the ignition key without starting, wait for 45 minutes and without returning the key run the engine. If the vehicle is at idle is because the timing was accomplished successfully.

EMERGENCY STARTING In the VW line, only the GOLF IMPORTED has emergency start in crash case the immobilizer. To make it work, follow the procedure:
Turn the ignition key without starting
Turn the time button to the right and simultaneously press the button resetting the trip odometer.
The odometer mark "0000" and the first digit will flash.
Go pressing the zeroing button odometer until the number for the first digit of the secret code. Confirms rotating the hour button to the right.
The second digit will flash. Then follow the same procedure described above.
After entering the four (4) numbers again rotate the hour adjustment knob to the right and press the button resetting the trip odometer.
Run the engine.
The engine must remain in operation and light anomalies remain on.
Note: Whenever you turn off the ignition key, it should be done the same procedure mentioned above, so that the vehicle is in operation.
