IMMOBILIZERS FIAT
In vehicles of the Fiat brand there are two generations of immobilizer systems that are:
FIAT CODE Phase I :
It consists of one
(1) master key and two
(2) slaves. In this system, the master key (red) is the codification of the slave key (blue). With the tracker can not make encryption keys.

FIAT CODE PHASE II
In this phase the master key has been deleted. The key transponder may be encoded with the help of a diagnostic device.

The light immobilizer error anomaly is on the instrument panel, is yellow and has a key symbol. When you turn the ignition key, the light code lights by 0.8 seconds off. If it stays on or blinking means trouble in the Fiat CODE. This time if given the starting the engine turns, but then dies because the CODE system cuts the fuel pump, ignition coil and injection valves.
The vehicle comes from the factory with two blue keys, however can be encoded up to 8 keys.
FIAT in the central immobilizer is housed beneath the finish of the steering column or built into the instrument panel or the body control module. If necessary its replacement, may be replaced individually for the CODE phase I where the ECU type box, or be exchange with the central injection for CODE PHASE II form as a married couple.

CODING KEY IGNITION WITH TRANSPONDER
There are two procedures for key encryption:
1) In this procedure the system is the CODE Phase I and therefore has master key:
This system only accepts coding if we have at least 2 key to program and maximum 8
- Place the master key in the ignition and turn until the lights on the panel light up.
- Note that the LAMP OF CODE on the panel illuminates for 0.8 seconds and then goes out. At this point, remove the master key and in less than 10 Seconds put the key to be programmed into the ignition and turn the key.
- Note again that the LAMP OF THE CODE turns on for 0.8 seconds and then goes out. At this point, remove the already encoded key and in less than 10 seconds puts another key to be programmed into the ignition and turn the key.
- Note again that the CODE LAMP lights for 0.8 seconds and then goes off. At that moment. remove the 2 key already coded and in less than 10 seconds put the key in the ignition and turn MASTER key.

- LAMP'S CODE will light up for 0.8 seconds and off.
- Is ready coding 2 keys. The procedure is the same for more keys.

2) The following procedure is for FIAT CODE PHASE II.
This system has no master key, but it may be used diagnostic equipment. However it is necessary to have at hand the key code is printed in a card called '' CODE CARD '' and this code is 5 digits (electronic code).

- It is not necessary to delete the keys already exist, before making new programming. But if you want, you can delete them using a tracker
- The diagnostic unit must be enabled to enter the can network because the key encoding is via VENICE system.
- Now the unit in venice system, follow the procedures provided by the equipment itself.

MODULE ELECTRONIC INJECTION (ECU)
For programming the new module OR reset, simply turn the ignition key to the central FIAT CODE takes care program it. Therefore it is important whether the central injection is really damaged at the time of replacement because it only accepts a single schedule.
To prevent the new plant is scheduled, just off the central connector FIAT CODE.

THE FIAT CODE IN CENTRAL
central immobilizer can be replaced individually. If the replacement is necessary, use the master key to program the central code (same key coding procedure).
From there the central FIAT CODE new is already synchronized with the keys and the central injection.

EMERGENCY STARTING
This procedure is used for the Fiat CODE Phase I and Phase II is important to emphasize that this operating strategy serves only to crash code system.
For example: it was lost the key with transponder and you want to operate the vehicle with a common key (no transponder). Every time you switched off the vehicle should run the entire procedure again.

Turn on the ignition without starting.
Step on the accelerator to the bottom and hold it down.
Note that the injection lamp will flash twice and delete.
At that point release the accelerator pedal and start At that point release the accelerator pedal and start counting how many times it lights. When flashing the number for the first digit of the key code (electronic code), step on the accelerator again until the end.
Note that the light injection will light up and go out again.
Take your foot off the accelerator and starts counting again as many times as the injection light is on. When flashing the number for the second digit key code, step back on the accelerator .
Repeat for the other key code numbers.
When you finish the last number, step on the accelerator again and notice that the light injection flashes a 2 times and goes off.
At this time the code was accepted.
Without turning the key, the engine runs.

electrical failure in Fiat vehicles,
we need to know exactly whether the malfunction of the immobilizer system or if this is caused by failure of any single component of the electronic injection, or even the injection ECU.
The emergency start can help us in this diagnosis, the first step and we step on the accelerator pedal and wait if the fault light does not blink, we have a great chance of having a problem of lack of power supply in the ECU injection,
we can make the insertion of the correct secret code, the game is released, and then, the immobilizer system is disabled, if it to crash, the vehicle had called if you do not call, we will be sure that the crash and injection.
