2) NBTevo (ID5/ID6)

• Used in many F-series G-series BMWs
• Uses an internal memory card
• Can be rebuilt, formatted, or repaired
• Supports cloning system and navigation

3) NBTevo ID4

• Early EVO version
• Same functions as NBTevo, but boots slower

4) MGU

• Newer BMW head units
• Uses fast internal memory
• Supports cloning, repairs, backup/restore

5) MGU21 / MGU22

• Latest HU generations
• Similar to MGU but use upgraded memory
• Navigation maps stored differently
• Fully supported by the tool

⭐ HOW TO USE EACH FUNCTION — SUPER EASY GUIDE
🟢 1. Auto-Connect to HU
Just open the tool.
It will automatically:

• Detect HU type (NBT, EVO, MGU…)
• Connect to it
• Switch to correct tab
• Sync all needed files
• Show real-time status

You do nothing.
The tool handles all.

🟢 2. Health Check
Press “SMART / Health”
→ Shows simple health reading for internal memory.
Use this if HU freezes, reboots randomly, or navigation lags.

🟢 3. Storage Information
Press “Storage Info”
→ Shows internal layout for your HU type.
Useful for understanding structure or before repairs.

🟢 4. Dump (Backup)
Press “Dump → File…”
→ Save full HU memory to your PC.
Use before:

• risky jobs
• format
• upgrades
• swapping HU

🟢 5. Restore (Recover Backup)
Press “Restore…”
→ Write saved backup back to HU.
Use to:

• recover corrupted HU
• restore previous state
• clone identical HU
