Delphi MT20U/MT20U2/MT22U/MT20UED/MT38
This module is foreseen for reading and writing of FLASH memory of the ECU Delphi MT20U/MT20U2/MT22U/MT20UED/MT38 via OBDII . Work with this type of the ECU is carried out via a KLine adapter or a J2534 device.
The correct size of firmwares of the FLASH memory for the ECU MT20U is 128 Kb (131072 byte). The correct size of firmwares of the FLASH memory for the ECU MT20U2/MT22U/MT20UED is 256 Kb (262144 byte). The correct size of firmwares of the EEPROM memory for the ECU MT22U is 3 Kb (3072 byte).
You can read only full FLASH and write only maps (nevertheless the program setup) for the ECU MT20U2/MT22U/MT20UED.
To work with the ECU MT20U2 there are two folders in the loader: MT20U2 type 1 MT20U2 type 2 It is connected with different algorithms of reading and writing of the same ECU type. In case you choose the incorrect ECU type, the operation of reading/writing of the FLASH memory of the ECU will fail. However it
will not in any way influence the ECU itself.
Warning! You can write only maps for the ECU MT20U2/MT22U/MT20UED, nevertheless the program setup.
The correct size of firmwares of the FLASH memory for the ECU MT38 is 1984 Kb (2031616 byte).
In the mode of reading the FLASH memory while working with the ECU MT38 using CAN bus one can read only the half of maps, and they carry only informative character.
You will not be able to write the so read dump into such an ECU. Warning! In this module for the program you can work with the ECU MT38 using KLine (cars produced before 2007). As for newer cars with the ECU MT38 you can work with this ECU using CAN bus. At this moment for such ECUs using the program you can read and write a part of maps.
You need to remember that you should write the firmware into the ECU MT38 using CAN bus only in case if you have the firmware for such an ECU. At this moment you can get the firmware for such an ECU only from the dealer’s update. Setup to work with this ECU is carried out using the setup window – you can call it by pressing the right mouse button on the ECU type.
Please press “Setup” and uncheck (remove the mark) from the line “use a J2534 device”. Also uncheck the line “Writing only maps” (it’s for safe writing). After you write FLASH memory it is necessary to carry out the command “Reset adaption”. HV240/MR140 OBDII This module is foreseen for reading and writing of FLASH memory of the ECU Delphi HV240/MR140 via OBDII .
Work with this type of the ECU is carried out via a KLine adapter or a J2534 device (only in the mode of ECU recovery after you get an error while writing it). There are two modes of work with this ECU: 1. Usual mode of readingwriting via OBDII (line HV240/MR140). Work
