Work with ECU Siemens via boot mode “on the table”.

There are 3 modules to work with ECU Siemens via boot mode:
1. Siemens  5WY SIMK41/43/EMS3132/Sirius
2. Siemens  5WY (5 sockets)/SIMK31/MS43
3. Siemens  5WPxxxx(Simos 7.1)
In  order  to  switch into the boot mode while working with ECUs (included into before mentioned  modules)  you  need  to  connect  104  pin  of  the  processor  C167  with  the  ground  through  a  resistor of about 6.310KOhm
You have to do this before switching power on the ECU. While  working  with  the  ECU  “on  the  table”  via  boot  mode,  it  is  necessary  to  connect  power,  ground, Kline to the ECU in accordance with the pinout of the ECU.
After  power  on  of  the  ECU you need to choose the necessary module Siemens and press the  button  “Connect  to  ECU”.  After  that  you  can  carry out operations  like «Read Flash», «Write  Flash».
All the works with the before mentioned ECUs are carried out via a USB KLine adapter.  It is necessary to set up a USB KLine adapter in order it works properly. In order to set it up, you  have  to  set  up  «Latency  time»,  which  you  can  change  using  «Device  manager»  of  OS  Windows, where you need to choose a virtual COM port, used for a USB KLine adapter.  Default value for «Latency time» is equal to  16. It is necessary to change this value to 1 in order  that the program works properly.
In the Russian version of Windows this setup window looks like that (where you need to find the  blue field with number 16 and change it into 1):

All  the  before  mentioned  information  for  the  ECU  Siemens  is  also  used  for  the  ECU  Bosch  ME7.x,  Kefico  with  the  processor  C167.  To  work  with  these  ECUs  you  need  to  choose  the  module Bosch ME7.x/Simtec76boot mode or Bosch M7.9.x/Kefico – boot mode (depending  on the ECU type).
